Hospital polaroids came out of my time as a nurse. They began as drawings of polaroids of mothers and their newborns. The transitional moment when a child enters with all its promise, variables and trials are reiterated through pencil drawing, blurred photographs of the drawings and finally, spray painted drawings that disperse the original image into the winds of unknowns.
